Get up early morning or keep these ingredients ready before you start cooking...
Parsi E-Style Breakfast-Masala-Cheese Omelette along with Brun Maska With Honey
Masala-Cheese Omelette
Ingredients:
- 4 Eggs
- 2 Onions (Medium Size)-cut into fine pieces
- 1 Tomato (Medium Size)-cut into fine pieces
- 2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 Cheese Cube-grated
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Black Pepper (freshly grounded)
- Oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Method of Preparation:
For the Masala:
- Heat Oil (2 tbls)in Fry-Pan (Medium Flame)
- On heating, add Ginger Garlic Paste, stirring continuously (for first timers do not stay close to the fry-pan, as on adding this paste it will "SIZZLE" for a while)(Low Flame)
- Add cut onions and keep on stirring till they tun golden brown(Medium Flame)
- Add cut tomatoes and stir them for a while.(Typical 2-3 mins)(Medium Flame)
- Add chilli powder an mix it well(Medium Flame)
- Keep lid on the top and let it remain for 1 min.(Low Flame)
- Remove the Masala and keep it aside.
Omelette:
- Beat 4 eggs and divide the contents in two equal portions.(Portion A & B)
- Heat Oil (1 tbls) in Fry-Pan(use small or medium size pans i.e. 10 inch or less) (Medium Flame)
- On heating, add portion A to the Fry-Pan and distribute it evenly across the pan.(Low Flame)
- Add the Masala over the omelette and spread it evenly.(Low Flame)
- Sprinkle Oregano, black pepper and salt.(Low Flame)
- Add grated cheese(Low Flame)
- Now add portion B over this cheese layer in such a manner that it covers the whole fry-pan and you are able to see only omelette.(Low Flame)
- Spinkle salt(Low Flame)
- Keep lid over the top(Typically 2-3 mins)(Low Flame)
- Now turn the omelette upside down(Low Flame)
- Let it cook for another 3-4 mins.(Low Flame)
- Thats it your Irani E-style Masala Cheese Omelette is ready
Brun Maska With Honey
Ingredients:
- 2 Bruns (the brown hard bun)
- Lots of butter
- Honey
Method of Preparation:
- Cut the brun into two halves
- Apply butter on the inner side
- Apply honey on the inner side
- Close the brun and just heat it on the pan for a while
